Monday started out as a typical day. We woke up and were waiting around for Andrew's class at 3:00. We both felt like it was a huge waste of a day because it was so warm and nice out and we had to hang out at home so he could go to school . He got ready and headed out the door. About a block down the road he realized something was different. No one was on the street. Turns out it was a holiday that we had forgotten about so we quickly got ready and ran to the beach, where everyone else that lives in Viña was too.
It was the first time we let Emery run free and play in the sand. She loved it.

A forgotten holiday? That's better than finding money in your pocket that you didn't know was there! (unless it's $100, now that would be AMAZING!) :-) It's so cool that you guys live so close to the beach and can spend so much time there! I love Em's little sun hat too. :-) You guys seem to be living each day to it's fullest! Your posts are so fun to read because your little family just exudes love and joy and you're words and photos capture those feelings. :-) Thanks for sharing that with me!
