We made pancakes. Em got her own mini one... She loved it.
Em enjoyed the views from our balcony. Well not really, it terrifies me to have her out there. She kept standing on her tippy-toes and trying to look over.
We tried completos... fancy hotdogs basically. Mine had tomatoes, mashed avocado and tons of mayo. Andrew skipped the avocado. The verdict, I don't love them. They are too bland. The bread was good. The avocado needed salt, lots of salt, and they put wayyy too much mayo on them. We even asked for a little bit, and it was spilling all over the place.

And then kissed him!
She thought she was so funny.
Em and I rode the metro for the first time here. It was super clean and nice.
We being the crazy americans that we are decided to venture out in the pouring rain to see the big waves at the beach.
They weren't as huge as we had been told or anticipated, but they were still bigger than usual.
Andrew played a little chicken with the waves, trying to touch the rocks.
We took the metro out to Valparaiso, a neighboring city, and stopped on the pier as the fishermen were finishing up for they day... it was stinky.
We watched them feed fish guts to the sea lions. They are huge and loud...Em thought they were silly. She giggled and waived.
We tried to teach her to not be afraid of the waves, but she still whimpered and was nervous.
Then we went to Jumbo, a huge store with some American goods.
It's been a great week. Here is to looking forward to more adventures!
