Emery turned 6 months old on April 11. She is 16 pounds 13 ounces and 26.5 inches long. A few favorite milestones:
Sits all by herself!
Responds to her name. We test her by calling other names to her, but she only turns to her name!
Eats solids... So far she eats carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, bananas, pears, peaches and yogurt. She's not a huge fan, usually only a couple bites, but she loves Mum-Mums. Once she gets the chewing and swallowing process she'll get to eat better food. Oh she LOVES ice cream. Dad gave her a few licks of his cone, she definitely takes after her mom.
She loves to drink out of glasses, every time I get a glass she grabs it and puts it to her mouth.
She gets up on all fours, and pushes herself backward. Crawling is imminent.
No teeth yet, though I swear she's been teething for months. The doctor says it looks like her top teeth might come in first.
Stands supported, we keep her occupied during sacrament by letting her stand against the back of the bench and talk to people behind us. She thinks she's such a big girl. She also likes to stand in the crib and hold the railing.
Squeals, screams and giggles constantly. She never fails to bring a smile to my face.
